For the 23-24 season, I served as the captain for Northeastern’s Baja SAE Team, leading a group of ~25 engineers to design and manufacture a custom off-road vehicle. attending competitions across the US.

Machining and Fabricating

TIG welded every part of the car, even in unfavorable conditions

Steering knuckles programmed with HSMWorks and machined on Haas and Tormach Mills

Designed and manufactured jigs for welding almost every part of our vehicle’s chassis

Re-machining an old gearbox to fix damage caused by a failed bearing.

Electrical Design

I got a set of Linear potentiometers donated to measure the travel of all shocks on the car, allowing us to characterize the effects of changing damping and spring rates.

I designed a custom breakout board with power regulation to connect a variety of sensors on the car to a central data collection device.
